Guidelines & Online abstracts submission

Abstracts should be submitted using the "Online Submission" section in our Web site that will be open in September 2016

Instructions for Abstracts Submission

After fill in the general information (title, desired presentation format and topic/subtopic) you need to accept the publishing rights. In the next step you should add all the authors. In step 3 you may insert the text by copy/paste and upload an image. Abstracts must be written in English. The length of each abstract is strictly limited to one page with a maximum of 3000 characters or 2300 characters when you upload an image. Images must be a .jpg, .png or .gif file with a size < 1 MB. The image may be a table, a figure or a combination table/figure or figure/figure. Step 4 allows to check your abstract and to complete the submission. Confirmation is shown in step 5 and you should also receive an e-mail with the comunication-ID.

Abstracts should be informative, carefully prepared, with the new insights stressed in order to enable the Scientific Committee to judge the scientific merit of the paper. If you choose to submit color figures remember that most printouts from the web will be in black and white. It is your responsibility to ensure that the figures are easy to read and understand even in grayscale mode. References in the text should be given by numbers in brackets. The list of references follows the last line of the text with one extra line inserted. If you use Endnote please follow the style of Style Numbered [1]

After submitting your abstract, you can change it online until the deadline for abstract submission. Incorrectly formatted abstracts will be rejected.

Deadline Submission

To guarantee being considered by the program committee, all contributed abstracts must be submitted before the deadline (30th January 2017). Submitted abstracts after the deadline maybe only accepted as posters.

Please note that after the acceptation of an abstract by the Scientific Committee, at least one author has to be registered for the conference before the abstract is finally accepted and included in the conference program. The maximum number of submitted abstracts is limited to the type of the Registration Fees.
  • Full Registration Fee: Each full registered author can submit a maximum of 2 abstracts.
  • PhD-Student Registration Fee: Each PhD-Student registered author can submit a maximum of 1 abstract

Acceptance

All accepted abstracts prepared according to the guidelines will be considered by the Scientific Committee and assigned to appropriate oral or poster sessions. Although the presenting author select the topic and the type or presentation desired (oral or poster) the final decision will be taken by the Scientific Committee.

Authors whose abstracts have been accepted will be notified by e-mail by 30th May 2017.
