International Process Intensification Conference / European Process Intensification Conference / Asia-Pacific Symposium on Process Intensification and Sustainability (IPIC1/EPIC6/APSPIS3)

Process intensification is transforming chemical engineering processes and plants. New targets replace traditional guidelines in process design: substantial improvement of the equipment size/production ratio and severe reduction of energy consumption and waste generation. By using new technologies, process intensification proves to be successful to produce more compact, safer, sustainable and energy-efficient equipment and processes.

The First International Process Intensification Conference (IPIC1), the Sixth European Process Intensification Conference (EPIC6) and the Third Asia-Pacific Symposium on Process Intensification and Sustainability (APSPIS3) will take place as a specialized congress in conjunction with the 10th World Congress of Chemical Engineering. It will be an excellent opportunity to learn about recent implementations in industry, the latest advances in research, and the current offer from technology providers. Furthermore, discussions on the state of the art and future perspective of process intensification will keep you updated on future trends.

The five previous EPIC conferences were held in Copenhagen (2007), Venice (2009), Manchester (2011), The Hague (2013) and Nice (2015). The two previous APSPIS conferences were held in Changzhou (2014) and Sydney (2015).

A number of presenters in IPIC1/EPIC6/APSPIS3 will be invited to publish their results in a Special Issue of the Chemical Engineering and Processing: Process Intensification (CEP:PI) Journal.
